Bul Chol had devoted most of their time to the Cattle wealth, compare to the other Nuer sub-clans, and other tribes of Southern Sudan, as well.   As a result of their dedication to the livestock, ninety percent of Bul population are “Gaatchibany” meaning possess a large number of Cattle.  Even these terrible days of life, Bul haven’t lost the confidence of prosperous mentality.  Bul Land has been blessed by the Nuer number one Prophet, Ngundeng Boong, who said that “The Land of Bul Lek will be surrounded by Cattle.”   After such a wonderful blessing, Bul have also received a multiple blessings from their Great-Great Grandfather, Chol, who said to them that “your wealth will be like sand.”  Therefore, Bul Land becomes the “WONDERLAND,” in which poverty is not a native of Bul Land.

The Future

Today and Tomorrow, much attention of Bul Chol have been turned towards Education.  And according to the yearly report, more than one Thousand High School Students and more than two Hundreds College and University Students graduated every year, across worldwide.  Education is the most recent target for both young and old generations.
